Chambray Ruffled Skirt
How cute is this skirt?! The lightweight, chambray is not quite an acid wash, but definitely has a more 80's and 90's look to it. When I say lightweight, I mean like it almost feels like silk, so its soft and drapes nice. The top is a contour waistband, so it a little wider and is more flattering because it rests on your hips and 'contours' to your waist, instead of cutting you off and creating separation. The back of the waistband is elastic, so it is stretchy and an easy pull on. My favorite detail is the asymmetrical ruffle across the front, it gives it more of that 80's feel without being over the top and overwhelming. It is also a good length, not a mini-skirt, but somewhere in between that length and above the knee. This skirt is great for those warm days, and so easy to throw with a tee or even over a swimsuit! This is a good style for Rectangles, Hourglass's, and Apples. Rectangles and Hourglass's wear it with any style top. Apples, a blousy top or a top with rouching will draw the attention to your great legs.
Pears, you can wear it with a top that will keep the focus on your slim waist, like a print or colors.
