I love this skirt! It has such an awesome fabric and a great quality! It is a woven, with almost a silky, sheen to it, I love the cream and mustard stripes, they are great neutral colors that will take you year round. The top is a contour waist, so it is about a 2 inch band that lays nicely on your hips without cutting you off and creating separation. The popular midi-style hits at a great place and can be worn with a flat or a heel. There are slits up both sides, so if you want a little more coverage, they are easily sewn up the seams. The buttons up the front are functional and a cute detail. The overall fit is more of an a-line, a little more fitted through the waist and hips and then a-lines out from there. Did I mention the front pockets?! We love this new versatile skirt and you will get plenty of use throughout the year. This is a great style for Rectangles, Apples, and Hourglass shapes! Apples, pair it back to a blousy top or a top with rouching in the mid-section. Rectangles, because this is fitted through the hips, wear a top that is not fitted, could be a little slouchy with some ruffles, something to add balance between your upper and lower body. Hourglass's you can wear a fitted or loose top!
Pears, the a-line fit will accentuate your hips, you can pull it up for a high-waist look and wear a top that isn't too fitted and hits past the waist.
