I would not describe this as a 'feminine' ruffle, but more of an edgy ruffle. The black is
a neutral, so it will pair back to any color. The fabric is a cotton, with a little stretch, not too heavy so it could be worn year-round for more versatility. It has a crew neckline, and a drop-shoulder seem that leads to an elbow length sleeve. the hem length is my only draw back to this top, it is a little on the shorter side, so it's not the most flattering for all body-types. This is ideal for Rectangles, and Pears. Because of the fuller top, drop shoulders, and ruffles, it will add a little shape on top, wear it with a more fitted bottom.
Apples, this may hit you at a tough spot and be unflattering, to focus on your great legs wear it with a skinny bottom. Hourglass's, the ruffles on top and drop shoulder, can add bulk and make you look broad, for sure, pair it back to a slim bottom.
